February 18, 9 p.m.-2 a.m. at JW Marriott Marquise, 255 Biscayne Blvd. Way, Miami
2/9/2012
Miami Science Museum Young Patrons want you to put on your black tie and your metallic chic attire (the ladies will know what that means) for their gala celebration to commemorate beginning of construction on the museum's new waterfront home.
The black-tie optional soiree is hosted by the museum's enthusiastic young philanthropic group and features music from DJs Mark Leventhal and Soul Survivors, full open bar, hors d'oeuvres and a three-month trial membership to be a Young Patron.
The upcoming new museum, The Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science will be one of the cornerstones of the downtown waterfront corridor's Museum Park and Young Patrons will have front row seats to the development.
