The Prime112 team unveils seafood-centric Prime Fish on South Beach

The who: The Prime112 team, restaurateur Myles Chefetz and chef Michael Sabin, recently unveiled Prime Fish, their ode to the fruits of the sea.

The space: The former Nemo spot has been updated with blue and white-checkered floors, white subway tiles, chandeliers with dangling glass baubles, an open kitchen, a raw bar and a small but efficient bar.

Outdoors: There’s that majestic tree that made Nemo such a magical spot plus plenty of patio seating.

The dishes: American seafood staples with a nod to fish-shack classics. Prices are geared to the high rollers and celebs that make Prime112 a sceney spot: Starters ranging from $17 to $28 and mains from $32 to $45.

Complimentary smoked fish dip and bread basket precede starters like oysters Rockefeller, lobster rolls and Hawaiian big-eye tuna poke with macadamia nuts and shoyu sauce. Entrees includes classic Prime112 cuts of meat, diet-friendly “fish on a plate,” wok-charred wild king salmon, swordfish schnitzel (pictured), black grouper imperial and Alaskan king crab lasagna.

The bottom line: The Prime112 team tackles fish and seafood by reincarnating the former Nemo spot in SoFi.
