Didn’t get tickets for the Paul Qui and Francis Mallmann collaboration dinner for SoBeWFF? Come to Los Fuegos where Paul Qui and Gabriel Ask crash Francis Mallmann’s fire kitchen at Catching Fire. The four-course affair includes dishes of Asado de Lengua, peanut-braised oxtail, beef fat rice and “bonemarrow toffee.”

Café des Arts Miami is offering a Free Truffle Pizza during SOBEWFF all weekend long when you order two glasses of wine. Wines by the glass start at $8 and the beautiful patio South of Fifth is a lovely retreat for tired festival feet, and a delicious way for non ticket-holders to start off their evenings as well.
Hang with the Broken Shaker Chicago crew for an evening of Midwestern inspired cocktails + eats by Trevor Albers, Scotty LoBianco and Chef Jonathan Meyer. (No Cover). Continue the Chi-Town takeover upstairs at 27 for dinner by Top Chef alum, Sarah Grueneberg. Reservations strongly suggested!

Bummed that you’re missing the sold-out Israeli dinner featured in the festival? Instead try The Surfcomber, which is recreating their hit Mediterranean Feast for a second year by flying in Top Chef star and DC chef Mike Isabella along with chefs Jennifer Carroll, and George Pagonis for an al fresco lamb roast that includes Merguez sausage and spit-roasted lamb, saffron roasted lobster, grilled whole local fish warm savory bowls of Bouillabaisse, fresh-baked pita and endless cocktails.

FRIDAY, FEB. 26
The Raleigh Miami Beach is joining forces with Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars to bring a sensory Wine + Dine lunch experience. Guests are invited to convene in the property’s iconic backyard oasis for passed hors d’oeuvres prepared by the culinary team at The Restaurant at the Raleigh. Each dish will be paired with a sampling of four Stags Leap varietals including the Stag’s Leap Fay 50 (commemorating the 50 year anniversary since the FAY vineyard was planted) and Stag’s Leap Artemis. Marcus Notaro, the wine maker, and Kirk Grace, Director of Vineyard Operations for Stag’s Leap, will take guests through each varietal in detail. The event will feature polaroid cameras which guests can utilize during the event, allowing them to take snapshot memories of a wonderful day home with them.

Dale’s Night Out is the unofficial after-party for SOBEWFF. The event features a special edition of TALDE’s Late Night Noodles with a special menu, think caviar and tater tots. Guests can enjoy sounds by DJ Reid Waters and beer and cocktails sponsored by Peroni and Absolut Elyx. The event is open to the public, RSVP required.

Master of Ceremony, celebrity Chef Johnny Iuzzini from Top Chef: Just Desserts, hosts this “Decadent Afternoon” at Drinkhouse Fire and Ice Lounge in South Beach. Expect Valrhona chocolate pastries and confections created and served by such chefs and bakers as Odille Arias (Coya Restaurant and Members Lounge), Keith Wallace (The Cupcake Galleria), Stephanie Frei (The Palms Hotel & Casino), Gina Sansonia (Cucina Bambina), Jenniffer Woo (So Woo Cakes), and Paola Levy (Paola Cake Atelier).
