It appears we’re having a taco moment here in South Florida.
Recently we saw the opening of Taquiza by an Eating House vet. Then there’s Bodega slated to open this week. And now this – TACOCRAFT Taqueria & Tequila Bar, located in the historic Himmarshee Village section of Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
This new Mexican restaurant will be opening January 2nd for lunch, dinner and late night. A Sunday Brunch will also kick off on February 1st and will start at 10:00am.
Showcasing modern interpretations on authentic street tacos, TACOCRAFT will have a wide range of Mexican comfort foods. There will also be classic Mexican staples offered such as hand crafted Tortillas, homemade Guacamole, Giant Burritos and locally sourced Ceviches. The beverage program consists of a full liquor bar with over 100 tequilas, handcrafted margaritas, and dozens of Mexican beers as well as featuring craft beers from local breweries across the state of Florida. Also, nationally acclaimed, local street artist, Ruben Ubiera was commissioned to create urban elements and street-style graffiti art to adorn the 65-seater.
