Stephen Starr and STARR Restaurants has just announced plans for Continental Miami, its fourth restaurant in the South Florida market. Located on Collins Avenue and 23rd Street at Aloft South Beach, Starr’s original Philadelphia restaurant is set to debut in Spring/Summer 2015. Serving lunch, brunch, dinner, drinks and desserts, the retro 70s resto features on its Philly menu, among other things: Brisket Bao Buns, Beer battered shrimp and calamari, Kung pao baby back ribs, Thai rock shrimp tacos, chili braised short rib, roasted octopus, chicken tika masala, filet mignon, steak frites, lobster mac ‘n’ cheese, flatbreads, pastas, quesadillas–in other words, Big Pink-esque.
