One of the masters in Mexican cuisine is coming to Miami.
Rick Bayless’ Red O, a Latin-Mexican-inspired restaurant, is opening its first location outside of California next summer on the ground floor of Metropolitan Miami’s Met Square, currently under development at 340 SE 3rd St.
“We are very excited to soon have the first Red O outside of California within the Metropolitan Miami development,” said Jason Miranda, Chief Operating Officer. “Downtown Miami has transformed into one of the country’s most desirable urban destinations. The city offers a culinary scene that can only be found in the one-of-a-kind city, which we appreciate as a remarkable blend of authentic Latin ingredients, flavors and attitudes, all of which we incorporate into our food and drinks.”
Bayless, winner of Bravo TV’s Top Chef Masters, and his team helped launch the highly acclaimed Red O in May 2010 in Los Angeles. There are locations in Santa Monica and Newport Beach. The LA and Santa Monica menu can be viewed here.
Red O’s neighbors at the MET will include, Novikov, Daniel Boulud and SilverSpot, a 14 screen premium cinema, as well as the elevated JW Marquis Miami and the Hotel Beaux Arts Miami. Zuma and Il Gabbiano are nearby.
