Portofino Wine Bank hosts exclusive wine tasting with The Prisoner Wine Company

The Prisoner wines will be samples at an exclusive wine tasting at the Portofino Wine Bank

On Saturday, Nov. 9 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. the Portofino Wine Bank (500 S. Pointe Dr., Miami Beach) will be hosting an exclusive wine tasting of The Prisoner and its sister blends, and a limited number of Miami.com users will be able to join the select guest list.

The Prisoner, which hails from Napa Valley, is a deep red wine that features aromas of black cherry and plum, roasted coffee beans and vanillin oak accents. The new 2012 vintage will be featured and Saturday will be the first release tasting the winery has done. Also being poured that night will be Cuttings, a cabernet blend that is rich and dense with flavors of sweet plums and red berries; Saldo, a Zin blend made up of several Northern California area grapes; and Blindfold, a white wine blend that is rich and creamy with subtle notes of mandarin and meyer lemon zest.

In order to get on the guest list, please leave a Facebook comment below as to why you and a guest would like to attend. The first 15 to do so will be on the guest list.
