A “taste of Italy” arrives in Sunny Isles March 18 as Acqualina welcomes Piazzetta Marketplace & Restaurant. Created in partnership with Il Mulino New York, Piazetta promises to transport guests to “an Italian town square set in South Florida.” Think bottled wines, olive oils, crostinis, paninis, a coffee corner and a sushi bar as of 5pm daily (odd, but true). Chefs Christopher Blum (Acqualina) and Michele Mazza (Il Mulino New York) are “curating” an eclectic menu stocked with melenzane & primavera pizzas, snow crab & lobster rolls, market & roasted beet salads, grilled New York strip, braised short rib and caviar. Piazzaetta replaces Aaria Lounge (a hotel bar). The fun begins March 18 – First Look & more details coming soon.
