After emerging at various places around town for the past four years, Phuc Yea!, Miami’s first pop-up restaurant before the term pop-up became as ubiquitously irritating as a Kardashian to a camera, has found itself a permanent home at 7100 Biscayne Blvd. in the old Moonchine Asian Bistro space, slated to open in mid-May. That’s all we got from proprietor Ani Meinhold. We asked if the place was funded by a grant they were hoping to win some months ago to which Meinhold replied, “Grant didn’t go through, but we’re working on a crowd fund for another project.” Opening info and details are forthcoming. Stay tuned.
