Nibble + Squeak dining club for “parents with pipsqueaks” launches in Miami August 24 at Mignonette

For food fans with young spawn, fine dining pretty much means eating anywhere where crayons don’t come with the menu. Nibble+Squeak, however, is changing that with successful NYC and London fine dining clubs for parents and minis with refined palates. Praise the gourmand gods, Nibble+Squeak is launching in Miami with an event from 5:30 p,m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 24 at Mignonette.

N+S hosts small, private dining events for parents with young kids, giving them an opportunity to eat at restaurants other than those aforementioned Crayola spots and at places where people aren’t giving you dirty looks when your precious ones turn petulant.

“When we first heard about the concept, we knew Miami had a market for it with like-minded parents like us who would be excited about the opportunity to have this foodie experience with their children,” said local Miami Nibble+squeak hosts, Juan and Stephanie Ruiz. “After having our twin daughters, we went from exploring Miami’s foodie scene to ordering not-so-exciting delivery. Our social life had taken a hit and it was hard to meet other new parents going through the same thing we were. Now, thanks to Nibble+squeak we have a long list of foodie spots we can’t wait to try with our girls.”

All kids will eat free thanks to Mommy Nearest, a parenting app and website that helps moms and dads find the most family-friendly places across the country. Adult tickets are $75 plus a $2.87 service fee and available, along with the menu, at http://www.nibbleandsqueak.com/mia/events
