Craft Beer News of the Week: Two South Florida craft breweries announced new packaging this week.
Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park fired up its new bottling line, part of a $3 million expansion that began in February, to roll out six-pack bottles of two of its core beers: Floridian Hefeweizen and Hop Gun IPA. The beers are on retail shelves throughout South Florida, and Funky Buddha plans to release more of its beers in bottles next month, including Zen Session IPA (formerly Crusher IPA) and Last Snow Porter.
And Due South Brewing Co. in Boynton Beach unveiled a new design for its canned beers, including its Category 3 IPA, Category 5 Imperial IPA, Caramel Cream Ale and its new Craft American Lager. The new-look cans will be available beginning next month.
