Opening today in the Townhouse Hotel is LA-import K Ramen – the shortened version of its actual name K Ramen. Burger. Beer. – a late-night hipster commissary serving a motley combo of poke, burgers and ramen has moved into the Townhouse Hotel. The Cape, a rooftop destination that will open in early December, will offer, they say, an “approachable nightlife experience unlike any other in South Beach, with beautiful views, delicious craft cocktails and a carefully curated collection of music.”
“sbe is excited to continue to expand our footprint in Miami, a city that means so much to us.” said Sam Nazarian, Chairman and CEO of sbe. “We look forward to reinvigorating the property with K Ramen and The Cape, and reestablishing Townhouse Hotel as a destination once again.”
For those around when the Townhouse was new, the basement Bond St. sushi and rooftop were both musts for scene chasers.
K Ramen at The Townhouse, in former BondSt. basement, will cater to those on a bit of a budget, heh, with nothing on the menu priced over $18. Menu highlights include Lobster Ramen, with golden chives, green onion and marinated egg; the signature Half-Pound K Burger, topped with Chef’s spicy creamy sauce, and an extensive selection of Japanese brews. Rounding out the menu is a selection of pokes served over aonori sesame rice, including the Spicy Creamy Tuna “K Poke” and small bites including Calamari with Wasabi Cocktail Sauce and Tater Tots with Duck Fat Drizzle.
The restaurant vintage life-sized arcade games like PAC-MAN and “a sake bomb experience” available from the afternoon through the wee hours of inebriation.
Opening in December, The Cape “trades the traditional high-end bottle service that lines Collins avenue for intelligent cocktails and rare bottled and craft beers. ”
sbe will also revamp the hotel lobby, adding a lobby bar with snacks from K Ramen.
K Ramen. Burger. Beer. at the Townhouse will be open 7 days-a-week from 4pm-4am. The Cape will be open Tuesday-Thursday from 5pm-2am and Friday-Sunday from 12pm-2am.
