Morimoto South Beach introduces weekend brunch

With the summer death knell taking its toll on so many restaurants, others are doing whatever they can to keep the people coming. Morimoto is one of them, introducing a new Saturday and Sunday brunch this summer, every weekend from noon to 3 p.m. There are two prix fixe menus, both at $47 per person. One, the healthy option, includes unlimited juice bar, an entree, maki roll and dessert. Entrees include  an Acai bowl, a mango fruit bowl, Paleo Protein Pancakes, and an egg white breakfast wrap.

The other menu, or the indulgences option, includes a glass of juice, a choice of maki roll, and a choice of entree including Eggs Benedict, Crispy Stuffed French Toast, Bi Bim Bop, an omelet, Morimoto Cubano, a South Florida Frittata, a Lobster Roll, and dessert

Bottomless bloody mary and mimosas are $12.

The new brunch menu is seasonal. Chef Morimoto will debut a new menu come fall.
