Dry your eyes, Michelle Bernstein fans.

One of the Miami chef’s signature dishes — her mouth-watering fried chicken — lives on at Sweet Liberty in Miami Beach for the next two months.

Bernstein, who had to close her beloved Mimo restaurant CENA by Michy in May in the face of rising rents, created the menu at Sweet Liberty. And from today through the end of Miami Spice in September, her fried chicken will be available a la carte for $25.

The dish is an echo from her fried chicken Wednesdays at CENA. She marinates the chicken overnight in buttermilk, fresh tarragon, Dijon mustard, celery seed and black pepper. The resulting crispy skin is finger-likin’ worthy.

Sweet Liberty has been receiving a host of accolades. Recently, it was named the Best New American Cocktail Bar at the annual Spirited Awards, which prize some of the best bars and bartenders internationally.
