If you have a favorite burger in South Florida, or are hankering for a new one to obsess over, odds are you’ll find it at the Burger Beast Burger Brawl on Friday night at Magic City Casino (450 NW 37th Ave.) in Miami.

Miami’s favorite comfort-food blogger, Sef Gonzalez, aka Burger Beast, is once again rolling out the red-meat carpet for 20 of the region’s finest burger purveyors. For a $35 ticket ($50 at the door), you can sample as many beef-on-bun combinations as you want, plus all the snacks, sweets and soft drinks you can handle.

The burger menu for the event is devastatingly impressive. Some sound too good to pass up:

The Born & Raised burger from Barley: Schweid & Sons special-blend patty with La Rubia pickle, Miami Smokers bacon, smoked Florida cheddar sauce, pork marrownaise and potato chips on a sesame-seed medianoche bun.

The Mo’Betta burger from GastroPod: S&S short rib-brisket-sirloin blend with pickles, American cheese and gPod sauce.

The Classic Jersey-Style Slider from Jersey Dawg: S&S ground beef on steamed onions with American cheese on a potato roll.

MadLove Champ burger from Latin House: S&S sirloin-briskey blend with provolone, Swiss, mozzarella and Bellavitano cheese, applewood-smoked maple-glazed bacon, Irish butter-grilled mushrooms and onions, avocado, lime-avocado crema, candied jalapeño and a fried egg.

The Pig burger from Orlando’s Pig Floyd: S&S special blend topped with cheddar, pulled pork and BBQ sauce.
