Gordon Ramsay sure is hot on Miami’s food scene. The British celeb chef announced he’ll be featuring five Miami restaurants on his brand-new Best New Restaurant, premiering in January on Bravo. And now his hit Fox show, MasterChef, is coming to Miami next week to cast amateur cooks for its next season, to air next year.
Home cooks ages 18 and older who do not currently and have not ever worked as a professional chef can try their luck at an open casting call from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the JW Marriott Marquis (255 Biscayne Blvd. Way) in Miami.
You’ll have to fill out a 10-page application (key question: Can you clear your schedule for nine weeks of filming from January to April?) and prepare a dish to wow the casting producers. Visit MasterChefCasting.com for all the details.
