La Nuit en Rosé wine festival coming to Miami Beach Edition

Apparently we’ve contracted rosé fever. According to Nielsen data, the summer of 2014 showed record growth in the U.S. of retail sales of imported premium rosé wines (those priced at $12 and above per bottle). For instance, for the 52-week period ending June 21, 2014, sales in this category increased by more than 67 percent in dollars and 55 percent in volume.

So all the better to partake in the world’s first festival dedicated entirely to rosé wines and champagne. It lands at the Miami Beach Edition Jan. 30-Feb. 1.

The event will start with a VIP Rosé Wine Pairing Dinner, presented by media sponsor Wine Enthusiast Media, and will be followed by both media/trade and consumer daytime and evening events. The VIP dinners, such as one that will be catered by Jean-Georges’ Matador Room in Miami Beach at La Vista Terrace at the Miami Beach Edition, are designed to showcase the wines alongside an elegant dinner and in the company of some of the people behind the world’s finest rosé wines.

Expect to taste at up to 40 wine booths with a representative pouring and discussing the wines, themed food stations, a pink cocktail bar, indoor and outdoor lounge areas, a photo booth and entertainment activities including dancing and more.

Tickets can be purchased here.
