Jamie DeRosa opens Tongue & Cheek restaurant on South Beach

Miami’s “next savory sensation” arrives on South Beach this week as Tongue & Cheek opens on Washington Avenue. Located in the former Kane Steakhouse space, Tongue & Cheek promises “ingredient-driven American fare” from chef Jamie DeRosa.

Look for $5-$15 snacks (country ham & cheddar pimento cheese, boquerones, deconstructed Spanish-style tortilla); $9-$18 appetizers (fried clams, lettuce wraps, cauliflower panna cotta) and $20-$30 mains (suckling pig, lamb belly, fried chicken and fish n’ chips). Pair with Beijing-style green beans, salted pretzel ice cream and Cracker Jack milkshakes.
