Il Corso

The Gables gets (another) dose of Italian this month as Il Corso Trattoria opens on Giralda in the former Archie’s Pizza spot. The restaurant is dishing out “contemporary yet authentic” Italian eats like lobster ravioli, pasta carbonara and Napotilana style brick-oven pizzas. Owners Geovanna Accetta and Yamil Yordi have teamed up with chef LeRoy Bautista (Angelique Euro Café), house specialities include mahi mahi, filetto mignon, polleto al forno and bomboloni (Italian style doughnuts).
