This April, the Florida Heart Research Institute woos food & wine lovers with two events. Driven to Dine blends cocktails, appetizers, a live auction and a multi-course dinner at a local restaurant on April 14. Participating restaurants include 1500˚, CRAVE, db Bistro Moderne, La Cofradia and J&G Grill. $625 per person. Alternately, eat, play & be healthy at Heart of a Chef on April 29 at Fairchild Tropical Gardens. From 4-7pm, enjoy family-friendly food & wine tastings, seminars, cooking demos and a culinary battle between Joshua Wahler (CRAVE) and Giorgio Rapicavoli (Eating House). $30 for 1 adult ticket & 2 kids.
