Check out Doral’s best hidden spot to enjoy a brew

The bar

Biscayne Bay Brewing Company

The vibe

The last thing you’d expect to find in a warehouse complex in Doral is a nautical-themed watering hole with big screen TVs, a jukebox and a full-service brewery. But that’s exactly what Biscayne Bay Brewing has brought to the industrial intersection on NW 25th Street and NW 82nd Avenue. If you’re lucky enough to stumble upon it, you’ll find a laid-back drinking spot that’s perfect for watching football games and unwinding after a long work day.

Something to sip

While you can purchase most of Biscayne Bay Brewing Company’s beers at more than 250 commercial locations, the brewery’s real gems are its barrel-aged brews. From La Salida, an IPA aged in bourbon barrels, and El Caribe, a porter aged in Caribbeanrum barrels, to El Roble, a whiskey aged Scotch ale, and Buenas Noches, its Imperial Start counterpart, these small batch treasures can only be purchased at the brewery while supplies last.

Beer and brunch

If you want to enjoy some brunch with your brew, the experts at Biscayne Bay will recommend an optimal pairing for you. Some of their suggestions include their Berry’d Treasure French Toast, made with Challah bread custard topped with macerated berries, Nutella-infused leche condensada sauce, cinnamon sugar and bourbon bacon infused maple syrup. It pairs perfectly with their saison, a pale wheat pilsner with both body and bite.

Or, try on the Biscayne Bay Eggs Benedict, served on a buttered toasted English muffin topped with Canadian bacon, herbed hollandaise and micro greens. It meets a match in Biscayne Bay’s Double Nine IPA, which combines three different hops.

Finally, it doesn’t get more Miami than Swine Waffles, infused and topped with candied bacon and a bourbon bacon maple syrup, and served with La Colada, an English style porter anchored by notes of cold brewed Cuban coffee.
