Cookbook shares grandmother’s recipes

Miami native Andrea Zaher Cassell returns to her hometown this weekend for the South Florida launch of her cookbook, Nahima’s Hands: Unique Mediterranean Cuisine (Morris, $21.41), an homage to her late, Syrian-born grandmother, Nahima Abouid Albert. Cassell, who lives in Wichita Falls, Kan., will appear on And the Women Gather on Comcast Channel 88 at 6 p.m. Friday and take part in an invitation-only reception Sunday in Weston.
