Miami’s 50 Eggs Inc. restaurant group — Swine, Khong River House, Yardbird, BTW — has parted ways with chef Danny Grant.
“We wish him well, and we know he will be successful wherever he lands,” 50 Eggs marketing and PR vice president Carrie Copeland said to Miami.com.
Grant, a 2012 Food & Wine magazine Best New Chef, arrived in South Florida from Chicago to open 1826 Restaurant & Lounge in South Beach last year. He left that kitchen in October to join 50 Eggs and add two new concepts to John Kunkel’s growing restaurant empire.
One of them, BTW (Burger, Taco, Whiskey), opened last month in South Beach under Grant’s watch.
No word yet on Grant’s next move.
