Call it Miami Spice — for Brickell.
Fourteen restaurants will offer fixed-price, three-course tasting menus begining today through May 16 as part of the new Brickell Restaurant Week. Lunch portions cost $20 a person; dinner, $35 a person.
The week kicks off today with an event at 600 Brickell World Plaza with unlimited food and drinks from more than 25 chefs. The cost is $50 or $100 for VIP passes, which include early access and an afterparty, and a quarter of profits go to the DJ Irie Foundation.
Among the restaurants participating in Brickell Restaurant Week are American Social and the new outpost from Ortanique chef Cindy Hutson, Zest. Each meal includes an appetizer, soup or salad, an entrée and dessert.
