Craft Beer Shop of the Week: Give a person a beer, quench his or her thirst for the moment. Teach that person to brew, and he or she will never go thirsty again. If you brew or know someone who does, I recommend a visit to Daddy Brews. It opened a year ago in the Bird Road Art District, at 4427 SW 74th Ave.
What You’ll Find: Owner Jacob Lindsay stocks a warehouse full of specialty malts, hops and yeasts as well as other ingredients and brewing equipment. He also carries a boatload of brewing know-how and is quick with friendly advice to homebrewers of all levels. Daddy Brews also hosts monthly brewing classes.
