Asian restaurant Red Ginger to open June 19 in South Beach

Red Ginger, the “Asian-inspired, locally influenced” restaurant from Menin Hospitality (Radio Bar, Pizza Bar, Bodega), is opening June 19 at 736 First St. in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood. 

Located next to to the Menin group’s Radio Bar (814 First St.), Red Ginger will feature a menu that includes sushi, binchotan-charcoal robata meats and veggies, and a chef’s-tasting option spanning Japanese, Thai and other cuisines.

Executive chef Herb Wilson, a former Top Chef Masters contestant who has helmed restaurants in New York, Las Vegas and France, will run Red Ginger’s kitchen.
