American Social is your new go-to spot for Monday Night Football (and more)

Located on the Miami River, American Social Brickell has become one of Miami’s top spots for brunch, lunch and watching sports.

Classic American comfort food, expertly crafted cocktails, award-winning chicken and waffles and a list of 52 craft beers on draft should be enough to lure you to this Brickell hotspot. But there’s more: breathtaking waterfront views and a massive TV that floats in the Miami River on Monday game night.

The deal

Weekdays from 4-8 p.m., American Social offers $6 appetizers — including ropa vieja tacos, braised brisket, pretzel bites and East Coast Oysters — and $10 craft cocktails. They’ll also take 50 percent off selected liquors, beers and wines. Head there on Monday nights to enjoy $5 AMSO burgers and prime views of NFL Monday Night Football on a floating LED TV.

Something to sip

Try the Smoked Pineapple, made with Vida Mezcal, pineapple rum, citrus agave and pineapple juice. It’s sweet and more than a little smoky.

Other sips

If you like a kick in your sip try the Spicy Mango, made with mango and jalapeno infused tequila, citrus agave nectar and Cointreau. If you favor bubbles, the Belvedere Bliss blends St. Germain liqueur, watermelon juice and Moet champagne with watermelon and rosemary infused Belvedere vodka.

Something to savor

If you come during brunch, you must try AMSO’s Zagat award-winning chicken and waffles. For lunch or dinner, opt for the Chicken Pesto Bucatini, made with Coppa Piccante, English peas, basil pesto and handmade bucatini pasta. And if you’re willing to share, go for the Seafood Paella, served with sauteed chorizo, Maine lobster, P.E.I Mussels and South American shrimp.
