The crowned jewel of The Traymore’s beverage offerings is its gin bar. For $20, guests can enjoy a carefully curated flight of four gin and tonic pairings, ranging from citrusy to floral. Those looking to enjoy classics with a twist can opt for The Traymore 1939, made with Nolet’s Gin, Rosemary Syrup, Orange Curacao, grapefruit and pomegranate, or the Cubans Don’t Drink Gin, made with Damrak Gin, orange bitters, Chambord and elderflower. If you’re dead-set on straying from gin, you have options: the Sleeping Volcano highlights tequila, ginger, cucumber, lime, cilantro and habanero syrup, and the Cortadito Addiction blends vodka, Kahlua, Baileys, coffee and cream. All the cocktails are $16.

Helmed by Chef de Cuisine Juan Loaisiga, The Traymore Restaurant and Bar places the spotlight on locally sourced seafood fare. Some items, such as the Grilled Octopus with potatoes, olives and salsa verde, have a distinctly Mediterranean flavor ($18). Others, like the Raw Yellowfin Tuna served with chilled soba noodles off their health-oriented Shambhala menu ($18), lean toward Asian influence. Guests can also indulge in a series of therapeutic wellness juices ($12) and bar bites that include Chicken Croquette ($10), Lobster & Corn Fundido ($14) and Truffle Parmesan Fries ($8).

The Traymore Restaurant and Bar hosts Gin Social Hour daily from 5-7 p.m. and 10-11 p.m., featuring $6 Gin & Tonics, $5 beer, $8 wine, $10 specialty cocktails, and half priced bar bites. Ladies and Gintlemen also takes place every Thursday from 7-10 p.m., offering a selection of any gin for $9 along with craft gin tastings and three specialty gin flights for $20 each.

1 1/2 ounce of Bulldog Gin
1/2 ounce of St. Germain
1/2 ounce of lemon juice
2 ounces of fresh and Barwatermelon juice
4 basil leaves
3 frozen watermelon balls on pick
Fill a Collins glass with the Bulldoge Gin, St. Germain, lemon juice, watermelon juice, and three basil leaves. Mix well with a bar spoon. Top the glass with crushed ice and garnish with a basil leave or a sprig of rosemary and the watermelon balls.
