The Vibe

A historic landmark from the late 1930s, The Traymore Restaurant and Bar at COMO Metropolitan, Miami Beach, blends vintage elegance with modern sophistication. In keeping with COMO Hotels’ guest-centric hospitality model and “silent luxury” mantra, everything about The Traymore is made to feel highly private, personal, and thoughtful, from the miniature purse and coat stands conveniently placed beside every occupied table, to the lavender, eucalyptus and spearmint soaked hand towels presented to guests upon seating.

Something to sip

Made with Bulldog Gin, St. Germain, lemon juice, watermelon juice, and fresh basil, The Traymore’s signature Collins Park is a refreshing and aromatic treat that begs to be sipped on a warm summer day on the restaurant’s terrace.

Other sips

The crowned jewel of The Traymore’s beverage offerings is its gin bar. For $20, guests can enjoy a carefully curated flight of four gin and tonic pairings, ranging from citrusy to floral. Those looking to enjoy classics with a twist can opt for The Traymore 1939, made with Nolet’s Gin, Rosemary Syrup, Orange Curacao, grapefruit and pomegranate, or the Cubans Don’t Drink Gin, made with Damrak Gin, orange bitters, Chambord and elderflower. If you’re dead-set on straying from gin, you have options: the Sleeping Volcano highlights tequila, ginger, cucumber, lime, cilantro and habanero syrup, and the Cortadito Addiction blends vodka, Kahlua, Baileys, coffee and cream. All the cocktails are $16.

Something to savor

Helmed by Chef de Cuisine Juan Loaisiga, The Traymore Restaurant and Bar places the spotlight on locally sourced seafood fare. Some items, such as the Grilled Octopus with potatoes, olives and salsa verde, have a distinctly Mediterranean flavor ($18). Others, like the Raw Yellowfin Tuna served with chilled soba noodles off their health-oriented Shambhala menu ($18), lean toward Asian influence. Guests can also indulge in a series of therapeutic wellness juices ($12) and bar bites that include Chicken Croquette ($10), Lobster & Corn Fundido ($14) and Truffle Parmesan Fries ($8)
