Beginning this Thursday, June 4, 1 Hotel’s Rooftop will be the scene of a true #ThrowbackThursday as it hosts NYC’s legendary Soul House, a party dedicated to classic hip hop, r&b, soul, rock, funk and classic house. Ranked as one of the Top 10 Parties in New York City by the Village Voice and Timeout, Soul House was founded in 2003 by producers/DJs Scott Melker and Cosmo Baker. Now a Miami resident, Melker will preside over South Beach’s own version of the brand every Thursday night. No tickets, no cover charge, no post-2000s music. The party starts at 10 p.m. and will run until 2 a.m.
