Sunset Swim, Bacchanal at Bagatelle, see J Alvarez for free, beer & clay at the Wolfsonian & free Wapo Tacos!

So this swim week stuff (really meant for retailers but very popular among rubberneckers) is full of events, official, unofficial and in between. From 8 p.m. to midnight Wednesday, July 15, it’s the Annual Sunset Rendez Vous Swim Week Edition at Bagatelle South Beach (2000 Collins Ave.) during which time models and those who love them will mix, mingle and maybe — dare we say — eat off either an a la carte or prix fixe dinner and most definitely imbibe in bottle service. This swanky event will also feature designers, performers and scene chasers. Maybe even  YOU! To RSVP, email Arrival is encouraged before 10 p.m. even if your fashionably-late clock has you getting there at midnight.

Bacchanalians Among Us
You needn’t be Cristiano Ronaldo to party at Bagatelle Miami (220 21st St.) like an international football star. On Wednesday nights the jet-setty haute spot wants to make you feel liquid, offering the entire wine and champagne list at 50 percent off  and, for the oenophiles who insist on bringing your own, there’s no corkage fee. The Bacchanal Wednesdays party goes from 7 p.m. to midnight and will last through these torturou–er, delightful summer months.

Miller Time
Craft beer may be hip or whatever, but at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 15 at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater (1700 Washington Ave.) it is Miller Lite, not FrouFrou Bearded Hipster Pale Ale, that is inviting the 21-and-over set for a free (yes free) J Alvarez concert, no strings attached. Part of the brew’s Conciertos Originales music series, the show is free but based on a first come first served basis. Get your tix
The Wolfsonian-FIU (1001 Washington Ave.) invites you to channel that inimitable pottery scene in Ghost and head over at 7 p.m. Friday, July 10 for a session inspired not necessarily by the Swayze/Moore flick but, rather, by its newish exhibition, “Women, Art and Social Change: The Newcomb Pottery Enterprise”. For just $10 you not only get to prod some air-dried clay but you also get beer from J. Wakefield Brewing in case you need an extra push. Craft + Craft as it’s called is open to anyone 21 and over. Free Tacos & Beer!
In celebration of the opening of its Coral Gables location at 2526 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Wapo Taco! is giving away free pastor tacos and beer from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 10. The store opens at 11 a.m. in case you want to get there early. Just kidding, though we know some of you aren’t.
