Santana at Trump, Purim, a Wall Brawl in Wynwood and the Shelley Novak Awards!

On the Caddy Wagon

Everyone knows that everything Donald Trump puts his name on is the best of the best of the best. There can be nothing better. Which is why you all need to go check out Trump National Doral’s brand new Royal Palm Pool, 4400 NW 87th Ave., the best of the best, which, at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 7, is hosting a big party and fashion show in conjunction with the resort’s World Golf Championships Cadillac Championship featuring Santana, DJ Irie, Dolce & Gabbana threads and special guests. Maybe even The Donald himself, but don’t hold your breath. Tickets include food, Grey Goose cocktails, Moet & Chandon bubbly. For tickets, go to www.livenation.com or to www.cadillacchampionship.com

(Not Quite Open) Bar Mitzvah

In celebration of Purim, the Jewish holiday commemorating the deliverance of the Jews from a nasty, murderous plot, Jewish events website Nelly’s List is hosting a big Purim Masquerade at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7 on the roof of The Gale, 1690 Collins Ave. A $20 cover gets you in. DJ/producer Miguel Milliones will provide the music and your own cold, hard cash will provide the booze at a “premier cash bar.” The party moves down to the Rec Room where DJ Ideal and DJ Aliyo spin. Party goes until “you can’t tell the difference between Haman and Mordechai” and or  you ran out of money at the cash bar. Masks are strongly recommended. It’s Reigning Men

Celebrating its 22nd year of kitsch, camp, glam and diva-tude is the Shelley Novak Awards, 10 p.m. Monday, March 9 at Score, 1437 Washington Ave. There, the best of Miami Beach’s drag community will be given their well deserved props with a colorful cast of hosts and co-hosts and music and video by Alex Infinity. We asked Novak what people can expect at this year’s gay-la, to which she replied, “Katy Perry numbers! A Joan Rivers tribute! Haileah’s finest! Tucked penises! We’ve got it all this year.” Yes, yes, they most certainly do.
