This week I’m changing it up a bit and I’m taking you all over Miami – from the beach, to downtown and even to Doral. We’re checking out some of the smaller venues and making sure we add a little variety in to our Party Patrol circuit.

Saturdays at Philippe
36 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach
Before hitting the town, start the night off with a little dinner at Philippe at it’s new location across from Nikki Beach (previously home to Opa). I checked it out last week and all I have to say is- it was FABULOUS! My suggestion, start off with the dumpling sampler followed by an order of Chicken Satay, then for your main dish I’d go with the House Filet Mignon. Finally, close out your meal with a decadent dessert like my favorite the Molten Chocolate Cake or the Vanilla Cream Brulee. After that, you will be in heaven and ready to mingle with Miami’s elite socialites as you sip away on specialty cocktails like the Black Dragon or the Midnight Mojito.
Dinner reservations are strongly suggested by going on to their website or calling 305-674-0250
Glass Candy & Chromatics at Grand Central
697 N. Miami Ave., Miami
Keep the energy moving and head downtown for a special guest performance by indie electro-pop duo, Glass Candy as they take the stage at Grand Central alongside the indie electro band the Chromatics, and resident DJ Mike Deuce. Miami’s fave party crew, Poplife, promise to bring you the best in Idie talent with this amazing show at this cool warehouse venue that will have you rocking all night.
Cosmic Gate at SET
320 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach
One of the biggest events of the weekend (which I had to include) is at SET Lounge. Saturday night put your hands in the air for special guests Cosmic Gate taking over the turntables. Prepare to hit the dance floor as the DJ Duo drop their latest club anthems such as “Be Your Sound”, “All Around You”, “The Theme”, and many more.
Doors open at 11pm, dress code is strictly enforced, and you must be 21+ to get in. Table reservations are highly suggested. General admission tickets for this event are already sold out, but you can still purchase tickets for a higher value at Wantickets.com.

Electric Pickle, 2826 N Miami Ave., Miami
Close out the weekend with Miami’s own MURK DJ duo team of Ralph Falcon and Oscar G alongside resident Lazaro Casanova as they take over to bring you 20 Years of Deep. These guys are pioneers in the dance music scene with classic hits like “Fired Up”, my favorite “Dark Beat”, and their recent track “Believe”. They have rocked the decks all over Miami from the original Club Space to all the new little trendy spots like The Electric Pickle. Be there Sunday night and take a journey into sound with Murk!
Doors open at 10pm, must be 21+ to get in, and dress code is trendy chic.
