According to the weather it’s going to be a rainy week in South Florida, but the way I see it – WHO CARES?!? This weekend marks the last weekend of summer and we’re going out with a BANG! Some of the hottest parties will be going on in the clubs, on the beach, and poolside. I’ve got you covered whether you live North or South so you better be at one (or all) of my top party picks. It’s the Party Patrol – LABOR DAY EDITION!!!

Start the week off right with a little Dirty Hairy in your life and party it up with a special guest performance by the group behind the hit electro tracks “Animale” and “Hello” with Martin Solveig. Keep the music going with house, electro, and open house mixed by residents Ross One, Contra, and Jessica Who.

If you’re in the mood to party, but want to keep it on a budget, head over to Mansion where special guest Kevin Lyttle will be hosting a special edition of International Wednesdays. He’s back on the scene and touring all over the US for the release of his latest single “Losing Control”. Dance the night away to a mix of hip-hop, R&B, and top 40 hits by DJs Konflikt and Ideal.

Juicy Music Revolution with Robbie Rivera at Mynt

Known all over South Beach as one of the most exclusive clubs on the beach, Mynt Lounge continues to bring in amazing artists to rock the decks and this week is no different. Kick off your Labor Day party marathon as you dance the night away to music by internationally known DJ Robbie Rivera for the Juicy Music Revolution event. It’s time to “Live for the music!”
Doors open at 11:30 p.m. Dress to impress and you must be 21+ to get in. (Admission is at the discretion of the doorman). Table reservations are highly suggested.

Down the street at the trendy and exclusive club LIV you can check out special guest KASKADE as he takes over the decks for a special Thursday night event in honor of the long weekend. Expect him to get the crowd hyped as he drops hits from his forthcoming fall album release featuring hit singles, “Eyes”, “Call Out” ft. Mindy Gledhill, and my favorite “Only You” ft. Haley.
It all starts at 11 p.m. and dress code is strictly enforced. You must be 21+ to get in. Tickets available at (currently $85)

12 Hours of Cadenza at Arkadia

Friday the fun kicks off early, rain or shine, so you better be ready to rock over at Arkadia poolside for a 12-hour marathon event with special guest Luciano alongside Robert Dietz. We’re talking 12 hours of Cadenza starting poolside from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., then take it indoors to Arkadia lounge. Talk about having stamina! WOW!

For all of my hip-hop fans who don’t want to travel to the beach, head over to The Cove for a special LIVE perfomance by hip-hop’s young and talented Tyga as he performs hits such as “Far Away”, “Deuces”, “Coconut Juice”, and many more!

For those of you who want to keep it for the grown and sexy with some Hip-hop and R&B, Saturday I got just the thing. International superstars Jamie Foxx and Fabolous will be taking over Dream Nightclub for their very own Labor Day weekend event. It’s a special edition of Eye Candy Saturdays that you don’t want to miss out on.

If you’re looking to get a little crazy and pound your feet to the beat of a serious house music session, head over to Mansion for a special edition of While Others Play House We Play Mansion featuring special guests Nic Fanciulli & Joris Voorn. Get ready to heat up the dance floor as you sway your body to the beat of hits such as “Together” and “The Tide”.

If you haven’t noticed by now, there is no time for rest this weekend. Once you’ve shut the club down Sunday morning, move on over to Nikki Beach and keep the party going on the sand. Then as the sun comes up prepare for a whole day with special guest Ferry Corsten as he throws down a hard-core set of high-energy house and trance hits with his latest released tracks “Check It Out”, “Feel It”, and more. Let the music take over and get crazy on the sand!!!

If you’re looking for something less sandy, head over to the rooftop pool over at the newest hotel on South Beach, DREAM. The new poolside fiesta features $5 Red Stripes and a choice of a grilled cheese, Cuban sandwich, or burger for $5. They have also teamed up with Voli Vodka and will feature a signature cocktail each week. In honor of Labor Day resident DJs Ruen, Ryan Evans, Uma K, and Aliyo will be heating up the turntables and have a special celebration for the release of DJ Aliyo’s latest mix tape.

Now if you are feeling adventurous, I say you drive to the Hard Rock for some John Digweed at Gryphon Lounge. He’s on tour promoting the release of his latest album Structures Two and he is going to rock the decks with some great trance music to take you on a musical journey!

Now it wouldn’t be a Party Patrol if I didn’t give you the low-down on the closing parties for the one and only Club Space. This weekend you can celebrate all weekend long with afterhours, and house music, but if you can’t make it to both, I suggest going Sunday. Sunday/Monday marks the official closing party for Club Space and it will be out of control! Special guests Markus Schulz and Loco Dice will tear it up on the decks to keep you dancing long into the afternoon hours so be ready to shake that a$$!
