This Saturday, July 18, Libertine will come alive to the sounds of Ack Daddy and Andrew Ward. The party will kick off a month of eclectic beats at Miami’s newest cocktail den, which shares a building with the legendary club Space downtown. Less than a month old, the speakeasy-style venue has already attracted a loyal following of local party people, industry types, and cocktail aficionados. Labeled “a bar for the people,” Libertine features an eclectic inventory of beer, liquor, and full-scale mixology that covers the spectrum from classic cocktails re-imagined to innovative hand-crafted creations. Since the bar enjoys a 24-hour liquor license, guests can keep the party going all night long. We suggest starting with The Libertine (Bulleit Rye, Sweet Vermouth, Elderflower Liqueur, bitters and Cognac) and working your way up to trying the bar’s authentic Libertine Moonshine. If you make it past dawn, the Firewater (Grey Goose vodka, Bacardi Superior rum, grenadine, sugar and fresh squeezed orange juice) is a great way to start the morning.
As a bonus, the team has partnered up with Miami.com and is giving away one complimentary drink per person before midnight to readers who RSVP to email@example.com – just make sure to include that you read about it here!
Doors open at 10 p.m. Closing time is open to interpretation.
