Discover the Miami.com Summer Wine List for 2016

It’s summertime in Miami, and that means sticky, hot days and nights where you need to stay in the shade and keep cool by a pool or along the beach.

Water is a necessity, but what if you want something refreshingly tasty? Then it’s wine to the rescue! But not just any wine – it needs to be crisp, light and with some hint of fruit. And affordable, of course.

Before we reveal our list of summer wines, we want to highlight our top choice. If you only try one of these wines this summer in Miami, it must be Moet & Chandon Ice Imperial Rosé. You read correctly. The popular Moet & Chandon Ice Imperial – the only champagne made to be consumed with ice cubes – is now available in a tasty Rosé blend. Just launched in time for the summer, it may be the perfect accessory to a hot Miami weekend by the pool or at the beach. And like its sister blend, you can also drop leaves of mint or fresh fruits like blueberries, blackberries or strawberries to enhance the flavor. When we tasted some with Moet & Chandon winemaker Elise Losfelt we dropped a jalapeno pepper into our glass and, wow, did it make for an interesting twist. (It will be available in Miami at the beginning of August.)

So, without further adieu, here is our summer wine list. All are available in South Florida, most of them at Total Wine & More. Cheers!
