With its industrial chic décor and comfy leather booths, Craft Social Club strikes a flawless balance between posh SoBe lounge and hip NYC cocktail den. Dreamt up by R.T. Murphy (alumni of EMM Group) and L.P Steele (who oversaw Bacardi Legacy and GA Magazine/Bombay Sapphire’s Most Imaginative Bartender competitions), the philosophy behind CSC is to combine a personalized, crafted Golden Age cocktail experience with an intimate nightlife atmosphere (set to the tune of classic hip hop, soul, and R&B). It’s also the only bar in Miami to offer VIP craft bottle service with built-in bars at each VIP suite. Because let’s be real – if you’re gonna pop bottles, why settle for a vodka cranberry when you can have a craft cocktail instead?

Helmed by beverage manager Raymond Tremblay, CSC’s large batch “community cocktails” menu features classics with a zany and creative twist named after 90s pop culture and classic hip hop. We love the Violet Beauregarde, made with Belvedere, blueberry syrup, giffard vanilla, Veuve Cliquot, and soda (available on draft).

By combining fresh, locally sourced ingredients, creative recipes, and a large quantity “batch” style prep process, CSC proves that quality and quantity can coexist in harmony. Each batch contains specific ratios of the required ingredients per drink, and is prepped and combined using a “Minute Mixology” method. Thus, nobody ever has to wait for a drink. Try the “I Got 5 On It” made with Avion Reposado, Cocchi Americano, Dolin Dry Vermouth and grapefruit basil soda (available on tap) or the Heroes in a Half Shell, made with Absolut Elyx, coconut cucumber water, green tea cardamom syrup, lime juice, and citrus bitters.

Something to savor

On December 1, Craft Social Club will debut a menu featuring “Ghetto Gourmet” – small bites that offer a grown-up take on favorite childhood snacks, like BEC (bacon-egg-and-cheese) biscuit sliders, and homemade hot pockets.

The deal

Starting Thursday, November 17, CSC will offer a weekly ‘No Shower, Happy Hour’ from 6:30-8 p.m. Guests will be invited to experience a one hour hip-hop Vinyasa yoga session followed by a happy hour featuring healthy-inspired craft cocktails at the bar. Each class will be $39 and will include the yoga sessions, cocktails and lite bites by Pura Vida.

1/2 ounce of Belvedere

1/4 ounce of blueberry syrup

1/4 ounce of giffard
vanilla

3 ounces of Veuve Clicquot Rich

Combined the ingredients in a copper mug with ice, then garnish with a blackberry, micro flowers, a mint sprig.
