Pizza Craft and Apothecary 330
Located on Las Olas’s quaint and lively Himmarshee Street, Pizza Craft is a blend of rustic charm and hip, artsy cool. The servers wear plaid button-downs and denim, and the whole place has that laid-back, low-key appeal you’d expect to find somewhere in Wynwood, not Fort Lauderdale. After dinner, guests can step through a side door into Apothecary 330, Pizza Craft’s adjoining speakeasy bar that’s decked out to resemble a gothic, turn-of-the-century smoking room.
Something to sip
Crafted with Old Tom Gin, sugar snap pea and sorrel leaf syrup, lemon juice, mint leaves and dandelion/burdock bitter’s, Apothecary 330’s PEA-ping Tom embodies the taste of a summer day spent lounging on a country porch.
At Pizza Craft you’ll find light and refreshing Italian-inspired cocktails like the High Fashioned, made with Wild Turkey Rye, Fernet Branca, Italian vermouth, and sage liqueur, and the Bellisima, made with Bitter Truth Apricot Liqueur, vanilla spiced peach puree, and Avissi Prosecco. Next door at Apothecary 330, adventurous imbibers will find “elixirs” that constantly change and stray from the typical, such as RX The Prescription, made with Hendricks gin, rhubarb tea liqueur, charred strawberry, lemon, egg white and vincotto, and the Horny Cactus, made with Maestro Dobel Anejo, Creyente mezcal, house hor “chai”ta, cinnamon bark syrup and Angostura.

Something to savor
For an appetizer to share with friends, opt for the Crazy Bread, made with cherry peppers, mozzarella, and house marinara. Or try on some polenta fries, made with shaved parmesan, house marinara, and roasted garlic aioli. If pizza’s what you’re after (duh), The Forager is a crowd favorite. Made with truffle cream, homemade mozzarella, truffle tremor, wild exotic mushrooms and E.V.O.O., it’s served with a charred crust using old world technique with locally-sourced ingredients, like all of Pizza Craft’s pies. For pasta fans, the Bucatini Carbonara, made with “Miami Smoker’s” bacon, farm egg, pecorino, a splash of cream, and black pepper, is a must. Cap off your meal with a ricotta cheesecake, served with blueberry compote.
Stop by on a Wednesday and enjoy half-off pizzas and bottles of wine all day long. Or, head to Apothecary 330 for their weekly ‘Whisper Wednesday’ and enjoy $5 martinis and complimentary small bites from Pizza Craft.
