The lawsuit brought by a Miami Beach paparazzo against pop star Justin Bieber and one of his bodyguards is taking a couple of strange turns. For one thing, Hugo Hesny, the Broward-based celebrity bodyguard named as a defendant, is still working for the singer despite the June incident and was recently videotaped roughing up another shutterbug in Argentina. Second: Russell Adler, shutterbug Jeffery Binion’s attorney and a former partner in Ponzi schemer Scott Rothstein’s law firm, was just suspended for three months by the bar association. The suspension, which kicks in Dec. 16, is the result of an investigation into Adler’s alleged lies to a condo association in New York City about the financing of an apartment he bought there. Bodyguard Hesny, meanwhile, has popped up on YouTube grabbing a photographer during a scuffle outside a nightclub visited by Bieber in Buenos Aires. Hesny can be seen chasing then hit the lensman until local police intervenes. The new evidence, says Adler, warrants an amended complaint in which Bieber will be asked to pay millions in punitive damages.
