The wet weather didn’t dampen the party for a bevy of stars Friday night. Russell and Danny Simmons, along with actress Rosario Dawson; Hollywood stylist Ty Hunter; and singers Miguel and Solange Knowles assembled beachside at Nautilus, a SIXTY Hotel, to congratulate New Orleans’ Aron Belka as the winner of the 6th Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series, an annual collaboration with the Simmons’ brothers’ Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. Belka was chosen as the most talented emerging visual artist among the thousands who entered the competition. He will team up with Dawson on a public mural installation in his hometown sometime next year as well as a solo exhibit at SCOPE NYC in March 2016.
