Aretha Franklin, music’s Queen of Soul, is battling cancer, several news sources confirmed Wednesday.The National Enquirer reported Wednesday that Franklin was diagnosed recently with pancreatic cancer, which has a 5 to 10 percent overall survival rate. Fox News and The Detroit News confirmed through Franklin’s relatives that she has cancer, but not what kind. Franklin, 68, underwent surgery for an undisclosed medical condition last week in a Detroit hospital.
