Another week, another story of personal destruction from Creed frontman Scott Stapp.
The co-founder of the Florida-based rock band has filed a criminal complaint against his wife, according to police records.
Boca Raton resident Stapp, 41, who’s in the midst of a nasty divorce from former beauty queen Jaclyn, walked into the Boca Raton PD headquarters on Thanksgiving and swore out the complaint.
Details are not available since a detective is still investigating, but a law enforcement source confirmed Stapp is accusing his wife and mother of his three children of stealing his money.
The source said he claimed she withdrew “a few thousand” dollars from his Wells Fargo account.
No comment from the wife’s lawyer.
Stapp actually had a friend videotape him filing the fraud charge and posted it on Facebook.
In her divorce petition, Jaclyn claimed Stapp had been on drug and booze bender that, according to the divorce file, she feared would cause his suicide.
