Lita Ford was at The Hard Rock CAFÉ in Hollywood Thursday for an intimate Pinktober concert to benefit Memorial Breast Cancer Centers. The event happened the night before she was set to sail on the sold out KISS Cruise V Set sail from Miami to Jamaica. Earlier, Ford visited with patients, doctors, and staff at the Center and said it was “an incredible place with incredible people.” The highlight of the show was Ford’s performance of “Kiss Me Deadly,” followed by a blistering guitar solo from Patrick Kennison. Bobby Rock (drums) and Marty O’Brian (bass) were no slouches either. Ford ended the night with an encore of 1988’s top 40 hit “Close My Eyes Forever” (a duet with Ozzy Osbourne). So how cool is Ozzy? “Very,” she said. When asked if 2010’s big screen biopic “The Runaways” with Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning got her story right, Ford said she hadn’t seen it but heard it wasn’t very accurate.
