In celebration of the 50th anniversary screening of Doctor Zhivago and the 40th anniversary screening of Nashville on Jan. 24 and Jan. 25 respectively at the Gables Cinema, Geraldine Chaplin will make a rare personal appearance at the1p.m. screenings after which she will partake in a question and answer session. Chaplin, who starred in both films, is the fourth child of film legend Charlie and his fourth and last wife, Oona O’Neil, whose father was the playwright Eugene. Tickets to the screenings are $11.50 each and available at www.gablescinema.com.
