What could be more stressful than being stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on the MacArthur Causeway when you are late for an important meeting? Well, according to the data crunchers at Zippia, a website launched last year that specializes in collecting and analyzing data about careers, there are several metrics that indicate that your town should be called Stressville.
Along with a commute of 30 minutes or more, the unemployment rate, hours worked, population density, percentage of income spent on rent and the percent of the population without health care, were the metrics used to determine how stressed out each community was.
How did South Floridian cities do in their analysis of 215 places in Florida? Pretty poorly. All of the top ten were located in Miami-Dade or Broward counties.
The grand winner was North Miami. Turns out that for 66.7 per cent of North Miami, the rent is too damn high, more than half have long commutes and 37.4 percent are uninsured. Check out the full list below to see how your city ranked, though this isn’t the kind of list you want to top.
