Actress faces serious jail time

It looks like Amy Locane isn’t going to be starring in too many roles in the next few years.

Sources tell TMZ that Locane was indicted Thursday by a grand jury in New Jersey.

The former Melrose Place actress smashed into the side of another car in Montgomery, N.J., in June, killing a female passenger.

Locane told cops she had several glasses of wine before getting behind the wheel and faces 10 to 30 years behind bars for the manslaughter charge and five to 10 years hard time for the assault by auto charge.

An Indian-born actor who appeared in the film The 40-Year-Old Virgin was sentenced to life in prison for stabbing his ex-girlfriend more than 20 times when he stopped by her home and found her with another man.

Shelley Malil — who played Haziz, a co-worker of Steve Carell‘s character — was sentenced after a jury convicted the actor of attempted premeditated murder and assault with a deadly weapon. The victim, Kendra Beebe, suffered punctured lungs and wounds to her neck, chest, back and arms in the 2008 attack.

Malil, 45, testified at trial that he visited Beebe in her San Diego home to apologize for taking personal items and to warn that he e-mailed sexually explicit photos of the couple to her co-workers. He stabbed her with a kitchen knife after finding her drinking with another man.

They met through an online ad.

Zac Hanson is all grown up — the musician’s a dad times two.

The Hanson drummer and his wife Kate have welcomed daughter Junia Rosa Ruth.

Junia joins brother Shepherd, 2.

Tony Romo may not have married Jessica Simpson, but he’ll be in good Hollywood company anyway. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback is going to have Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford as a brother-in-law. The California native, 30, just got engaged to former Miss Missouri turned Dallas-based sports reporter Candice Crawford, 24. Hey, we know she can talk football.

Romo can help out with wedding plans: He hasn’t been on the field since breaking his collarbone in October.

Julia Stiles has done a rare thing: Come forward to deny the rumor that she caused the breakup of Dexter costars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter.

Stiles, who was a guest star in the fifth season, released a statement saying she and Hall are “good friends and enjoyed working together,” but that’s it.

Carpenter formally filed for divorce Thursday; papers say the couple actually separated on Aug. 9, about 19 months after they tied the knot.

More trouble for Demi Lovato.

The Sonny With a Chance star, who landed in rehab after a blowout with a backup dancer, is now the star of her very own sexy video.

The Superficial has published photos of the Disney princess flashing her cleavage while her backup dancers — including the one she allegedly punched (Alex Welch) — pose seductively. In another, Demi, 18, stands alone in a lacy bra.

Bet Miley Cyrus is breathing a sigh of relief.

Sandra Bullock has been given an interesting title: People’s Most Intriguing Woman of 2010.

The 46-year-old actress has definitely been through it all — divorcing Jesse James, adopting a son and scoring an Oscar. And she’s still going strong.

Other celebs who made the cut: Bret Michaels (the Ultimate Survivor); Kim Kardashian (the Entrepreneur); Kate Middleton and Prince William (the Royal Couple); Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (Glam Parents); and Elin Nordegren (the Class Act).
