The Raleigh Hotel Presents Jazz Dinner Series

Art Deco icon The Raleigh Hotel (1775 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-534-6300) is getting a cultural infusion from the Jazz Age as the Martini Bar and Restaurant Michael Schwartz present a series of jazz dinners through January 2015.

Kicking off Thursday night, Oct. 16, chanteuse Cat Shell will croon while diners enjoy a special prix fixe dinner at the restaurant or sip martinis at the bar.

Priced at $49, chef de cuisine Molly Brandt’s three-course menu will feature such highlights as yellowtail snapper crudo, saffron-faro risotto and a chocolate bourbon tart. Diners taking advantage of this menu will also receive 25% off specially crafted Martini Bar martinis, like the Crown Colony Daiquiri, Vesper and The Candidate.

The monthly concert series begins at 8 p.m. Performance dates are as follows:


  • October 16 – Cat Shell 
  • November 20 – Mike Orta Trio 
  • December 18 – Markus Gottschlich and friends 
  • January 8 – Special Performance during 2nd Annual Miami Beach Jazz Festival
