As Miami Beach prepares to celebrate its centennial on March 26, 2015, area hotels are hooking travelers up with major savings inspired by the 100 year anniversary.

The recently renovated and reopened Circa 39 (3900 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-538-4900) is celebrating the anniversary with a 100-hour booking window between March 22-26, offering travelers a special $100 rate for stays from Monday – Thursday during the month of June 2015.

The charming boutique hotel boasts Jules Kitchen, serving global comfort food, as well as hip WunderBar, mixing up craft cocktails in a trendy setting.

For history buffs: Circa 39 was originally the Coply Plaza Hotel, built in 1939 during the Art Deco building surge. It housed US Armed Forces during World War II.

Marriott Stanton South Beach

Head to the beach at the Marriott Stanton South Beach (161 Ocean Dr., South Beach; 305-536-7700) on March 26 at noon for the Stanton SANDtennial Treasure Hunt and sweep the beach in hopes of snagging a buried treasure box holding up to $100 in cash. There will be $1,000 total hidden throughout the designated area with one lucky, grand prize winner taking home a $100 bill, a two-night stay with suite accommodations, a wave runner excursion for two, and one day with a private beach bed & bottle of champagne.
