Elf, The Musical
Dec. 31-Jan. 5
Where: Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, 1300 Biscayne Blvd., Miami
The musical based on the hilarious movie "Elf" (which Will Ferrell starred) takes over the Arsht Center to delight Miami audiences with the story of Buddy the Elf, a human who is fostered by elves in the North Pole and reconnects with his family in New York City to bring them a heavy dose of Christmas spirit.
Discover Orange Bowl Football Game
Where: Sun Life Stadium, 2269 NW 199th St., Miami Gardens

Anthony and Cleopatra

Art Deco Weekend
Where: Ocean Drive between Fifth and Thirteenth Streets, Miami Beach
Celebrate the best of Art Deco at this three-day festival featuring vendors, film screenings, lectures, classic cars, a street parade, children's area and more.
Miami International Art Fair (MIA)
Where: SeaFair, docked at Intercontinental Hotel Dock, 100, Chopin Plaza, Miami
In its fifth year, this art fair gathers a selection of the world's forward-thinking international galleries and local cultural institutions to offer a program of arts events and an educational lecture and panel series.
Beaux Arts Festival
Where: The University of Miami campus, Coral Gables
The Beaux Arts Festival offers art from more than 200 juried exhibitors plus, live eclectic music and other free entertainment, children's art experiences, fabulous dining options, and free admission all weekend to the Lowe Art Museum. Cash prizes totaling $20,000 are awarded across ten categories, as well as the Student Artist Showcase, featuring art from students all over Miami-Dade County.
Homestead Championship Rodeo
Where: Doc’ DeMilly Rodeo Arena at Harris Field, U.S. 1 and SW 312th Street in Homestead
Homestead Championship Rodeo and Rodeo Days will have you screaming "yee-haw!" at the bare-back and saddle bronco riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, cowgirls’ barrel racing and the crowd favorite, bull riding.
International Chocolate Festival
Where: Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Rd., Coral Gables
Head to Fairchild Tropical Garden for three decadent days of chocolate with chef demonstrations, lectures, a Choco-Walk, plant sales and more.
Miami National Antique Show
