The Original Miami Beach Antique Show
Jan. 31-Feb. 4

Miami Beach hosts the world's largest indoor antique show with more than 800 established dealers from 22 countries offering an array of furniture, jewelry, art and wares from back in the day.
Miami International Map Fair
Where: HistoryMiami, 101 W. Flagler St., Miami
Now in its 20th year, this annual event showcases antique maps, rare books, panoramas and atlases from around the world. Peruse and purchase antique maps from some of the finest map dealers in the world, learn about cartography through a series of lectures by experts in the field and enjoy special events held throughout the weekend.
Florida Renaissance Festival
Where: Quiet Waters Park, 401 S. Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach
The annual event that brings a bit of medieval mayhem to South Florida kicks off in February in Deerfield Beach with sword fighters, minstrels, magicians, storytellers, giant turkey legs plus jousting knights, corseted wenches, games and all things Middle Ages (minus the plague).
Valentine’s Day Events
Where: Various locations around South Florida

SoBay Festival of the Arts
Where: Deering Estate, 16701 S.W. 72 Ave., Miami.
Deering Estate's annual celebration of the literary, performing and visual arts offers an array of special performances and exhibits including its annual Valentine's Day concert.
Where: Art Miami Pavilion, 3101 NE 1st Ave., Miami
Art Wynwood 2013 brings 70 international galleries offering emerging, cutting edge, contemporary and modern works as well as street art, murals, pop surrealism and other genres from the contemporary underground movement.
Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail
Where: Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Dr.; Miamarina at Bayside, 400 Biscayne Blvd.; and at the Sea Isle Marine & Yachting Center, 1635 N. Bayshore Dr.,Miami.
A boat show so big it takes over three venues, the Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail showcases more than 2,000 exhibitors with the latest powerboats, sailboats, engines, electronics and accessories. One ticket is good for all three sites and includes free shuttle bus and water taxi service between locations.
Coconut Grove Arts Festival
Where: Along the streets of McFarlane Road, South Bayshore Drive and Pan American Drive in Coconut Grove
More than 150,000 visitors flock to this annual art festival that takes over the streets of Coconut Grove with works of art in a variety of media by 330 artists as well as a packed agenda of culinary events, musical and theatrical performances, dining options and family fun.
South Beach Wine & Food Festival
Where: Various locations in South Beach
Foodies of the world head to South Beach en masse for this renowned culinary festival that brings celebrity chefs to Miami to headline tons of tasty events. Join your favorite Food Network hosts for cooking demonstrations, book signings, wine tastings, seminars, dinners and parties -- all for the love of food.
