Miami-Dade County Fair
That's right -The Fair's back. Time to eat elephant ears and ride the G-Force until you hurl!
The Fair reaches its 60th year providing 18-day event includes live entertainment, state-of-the-art rides, skill games, outrageous fair foods and livestock/agricultural competitions.
Guests will enjoy the thrill rides and games including fan favorite G-Force and interactive video game system 'Game Hype' at The Garage, mouth watering foods - featuring unforgettable delicacies like the Garbage Burger and more than 50,000 student exhibits - among them the brand new department Re-new, Re-use and Recycle, this year’s fair turns it up for 2011.
The Fair unveils the Ultimate LIVE! Experience beginning Opening Day, Thursday March 17th with Latin Grammy Award winners Chino y Nacho in concert at 9 p.m.

Friday, March 18th @ 9pm | FRIDAY NIGHTS ROCK featuring American Rock Band Paper Tongues. Managed by American Idol’s Randy Jackson, this Charlotte band fuses massive rock n’ roll melodies with fiery hip-hop beats, conjuring an infectious, incendiary sound.
Saturday, March 19th @ 9pm | SATURDAY NIGHTS…LIVE! featuring Christian singer/songwriter and GMA Female Vocalist of the Year Natalie Grant.
Sunday, March 20th Noon - 5pm | SUNDAY FUNDAYS A-LIVE! The Fair hosts an eclectic group of performers as part of its brand new, family-friendly series. Families and kids of all ages enjoy LIVE! music, storytelling by the Miami-Dade Public Library System & interactive experiences every Sunday. Hands-on activities at the ‘WLRN Kids Green Zone’ Tent where it’s all about reading, the environment and science with Sid the Science Kid and Super Why!
Friday, March 25th 3 p.m.-5 p.m. | Kids Express Yourselves with Dora the Explorer presented by Nickelodeon. Kids are encourage to express themselves by following the map around The Fair and have their picture taken with Dora at The Fountain.
Friday, March 25th @ 9 p.m. | FRIDAY NIGHTS ROCK featuring FCW and WWE Superstars.
Saturday, March 26th @ 9 p.m. | SATURDAY NIGHTS...LIVE! featuring Grammy Award Winner Luis Enrique. A pioneer of the romantic salsa movement, his “Ciclos” record won the 2010 Grammy Award winner for Best Tropical Album.
Sunday, March 27th Noon - 5 p.m. | SUNDAY FUNDAYS A-LIVE! The Fair attempts to create the Largest Cha-Cha Slide for the Guinness Book of World Records, The Fair brings Chicago’s own DJ Casper, (aka Mr. C The Slide Man) to perform the nationally renowned Cha Cha Slide - a line dance with called instructions, it’s an updated version of the Electric Slide.
Thursday, March 31st 3 p.m.- 5 p.m. | FOOD & WINE LIVE! BEFORE FIVE Farm-to-table restaurants and master chefs produce organic cooking experiences at the newly remodeled Panda Kitchen and styled by VIP Lodging & Event Solutions demonstrating how to make food healthier, while supporting locally based agriculture.
Thursday, March 31st 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. | The Mix Cartel featuring DJ Obscene with Mack at Night spin LIVE! @ The Garage. Located in the heart of The Fair’s midway and open everyday til’ park closes, The Garage houses the ‘Game-Hype System’ with the latest in next generation video game entertainment on flat panel, high-definition televisions, airs LIVE! radio broadcasts with Radiate FM, Florida International University’s (FIU) student run radio station and sports games across all 18-days of The Fair.
Friday, April 1st @ 9 p.m. | FRIDAY NIGHTS ROCK featuring alternative band The Ready Set.
Saturday, April 2nd @ 9 p.m. | SATURDAY NIGHTS...LIVE! featuring Latin and Grammy Award nominated Puerto Rican salsa singer Jerry Rivera. One of the most popular of the early-'90s generation of young salseros, his album ‘Cuenta Conmigo’ became one of the biggest albums in salsa music and produced two major hits, the title track and "Casi un Hechizo."
Sunday, April 3rd @ Noon – 5 p.m. | SUNDAY FUNDAYS A-LIVE! The DIRTY SOCK FUNTIME BAND brings its high energy kids rock music to the Fair.
